We’re stopping Miller to build something better - service ends October 31

Hi, I want to start with a thank you.
Miller was rough, and incomplete. You opened it anyway. You told us what was broken. You waited. We got this far because of you - and we’re grateful you came along this early on the way to building a second brain like Jarvis.

We’re changing direction

Over the past months - building Miller, using it, reading your feedback - the same problem kept surfacing.

To use Miller, you had to install an app, grant three permissions, and wait days for enough context to accumulate. And to see what it remembered, you had to open the app again.

But the moments you most need a memory aren’t at your laptop. Right after a meeting. On the move. When all you have is your phone. Miller wasn’t there for any of them.

A second brain you have to open isn’t a second brain.

We thought the hard problem was accumulating memory well. The harder problem turned out to be being there when it matters - and Miller’s current shape couldn’t solve that. It wasn’t a few screens away from working.

So instead of improving it, we’re starting over.

Which means Miller,
as it is today, is shutting down

A small team can’t build two products well at the same time.
To give the new one everything we have, we’re bringing this one to a close.

Through October 31, 11:59 PM CDT (UTC-5) - Miller works exactly as it does today

November 1, 12:00 AM CDT (UTC-5) - the service shuts down

Request a data export

Requests are accepted through October 31, 11:59 PM CDT (UTC-5). After the service shuts down, we delete your content and personal information without delay, in line with our Privacy Policy. We're not keeping anything we don't have to. The only exceptions are data we still need to complete an export request you already submitted, data we're required by law to keep, and data needed for a dispute in progress. Once that reason no longer applies, we delete it without delay.
